On May 25, 2017, Amy was admitted at the Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) escorted by a Social Worker since child's biological mother is suffering from mental illness. The child was admitted at the center for protective custody and further case management. Amy was 1 year and 5 months old when admitted at the center. She had a short black hair with a dark skin, too small for her age, she cannot walk yet and was irritable. The mother of the child came to a broken family. Since birth the mother of the child already experienced difficulty in life. Presence of all forms of abuses among family members became part of their lives. The mother of the child suffered also from mental disturbance of depression, stress and physical abuse done them by their stepfather who was always drunk. The mother of the child found a live-in partner and Heart is her first child. Their marriage did not last long since the man did not care for them. She found again another live-in partner who took custody over them. But this man left them. She took Amy with her that has caused her to experience sunburn since she is severely exposed to sunlight, she was pale, tired and weak, with unpleasant odor and child always crave for food since she lacks food to eat.
